The Art of Everyday Ecstasy

Anand, Margot, The Art of Everyday Ecstasy, New York, Broadway Books (Random House, Inc.), 1998.

Margot’s most recent book is a wonderful expansion
of the concepts of Tantra in everyday life. Certainly, sexuality is a part of
everyday life, but the emphasis here is much gentler for those who are not yet
ready to dive into the sexoyogic practices of Tantra. This book makes a great
gift for loved ones with whom you want to introduce Tantra gently.

The Art of Sexual Ecstasy

Anand, Margot, The Art of Sexual Ecstasy, New York, Jeremy P. Tarcher/Putnam (Penguin Putnam, Inc.), 1989.

This is the original Margot classic and the book
that introduced us to Tantra. We hold it dear to our hearts and recommend it
in the highest as a top-notch, beautifully written guide to expanding sexuality
as a spiritual path, either solo or with your beloved. If sharing the book
with your partner, reading it aloud together ensures that you are, indeed,
always on the same page! This facilitates productive dialogue between partners
as they explore new territory.

The Multi-Orgasmic Couple

Chia, Mantak and Maneewan, and Abrams, Douglas and Rachel Carlton,
The Multi-Orgasmic Couple, New York, HarperSanFrancisco (HarperCollins Publishers, Inc.), 2000.

Mantak Chia is the recognized teacher of Taoist
sexuality. The author of many books, including with Douglas Abrams the
highly recommended The Multi-Orgasmic Man, Mantak also offers workshops and
trainings world-wide. This book, written with Mantak and Douglas’ partners
Maneewan and Rachel, is an excellent guide for couples just starting out on
the path of sexuality as a sacred practice.

The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Tantric Sex

Kuriansky, Judy,
The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Tantric Sex, Indianapolis, Alpha (Pearson Education, Inc.), 2002.

Judy does an excellent job of covering vast
territory in this user-friendly overview and guide. The appendices are also
rich resources for related websites, teachers, music, videos, and specialty
areas such as tantra for teens or people with health conditions. This book
also makes an excellent gift with just the right amount of Complete Idiot’s
Guide humor, yet maintaining a solid information base.
